Vermont Natural Coatings introduces “Professional Wood Finish Made Green.”

Founder and president, Andrew Meyer, recognized the need for a better wood finish and Vermont’s capacity to fulfill it. Meyer grew up on a dairy farm in the heart of Vermont’s agricultural industry. Armed with an Environmental Science degree from the University of Vermont and entrepreneurial skill fostered through a decade of experience in agricultural and environmental policy development, Meyer built the facility and business that creates PolyWhey coatings.

Vermont Natural Coatings collaborated with a University of Vermont team of scientists and chemists, and through dedicated research and innovation developed a better product that meets the market’s performance demands and directly fulfills the Green Building industry’s needs. Through the use of whey proteins, Vermont Natural Coatings has created professional products to make the application safer for workers and healthier for all.
