Summary

Vitrohue is a line of 100% recycled glass. They are specially sized chips that look like gems; thanks to their bright colours and transparency, they enable designers, architechts, artists, homeowners and landscape architects to create effects that are not possible with other aggregrates. They are non-porous, durable, and scratch-resistant.

How is it used

Vitrohue can be used from a wide range of professionists, for plenty of applications. In example, they can be used for terrazzo flooring, tiles, counter tops, concrete pavers, wall finishes and exposed aggregate surfaces.

How is it made

Those chips are crafted entirely from post-industrial and post-consumer glass, with no additional oxides or colorants.

Technical specifications

3 main lines: Tumbled Glass, Glass Aggregates and Mosaic Stained Glass.

Tumbled Glass: - Avaiable in one size – pieces range from 3/8” to 1”. - Bulk density is approximately 85 pounds per cubic foot or 2300 pounds per yard. - Estimate 2 pounds per square foot for exposed aggregate, 8 pounds per square foot at 1” deep for ground cover. - Not recommended as loose ground cover for pedestrian or vehicle traffic. - Avaiable to retail distributors packaged in 25 lb. bags. Colou=rs: Rainer Clear, Cobalt Blue, Amber, Cascade Greens, Gardeners’ Blend.

Glass Aggregates: - Avaiable in sizes 00, 0, 1, 2 and 3 and are sized according to NTMA specifications. Colors: Green, Cobalt Blue, Amber, Clear.

Mosaic Stained Glass: - Avaiable in two sizes. - Regular sized mix – pieces and ranges from approximately 1/4” – 1-1/2”. - Confetti mix – pieces range from approximately 1/8” – 1/4”. - All Mosaic Mixes are sold in 25 lb. bags only. Colors: Raibnbow mix, Tuxedo mix, Autumn mix.
